| Competitive Pick-Up Volleyball Games

Description:
This summer throughout the months of June, July, and August we will be hosting a weekly "competitive" pick-up volleyball night at the Warren Recreation Facility located at the intersection of Welsh and Church Roads. The games will be held Tuesday nights at 6:00pm, starting May 24th, 2011. Volleyballs and water will be provided.

Summer Basketball League
Description:
Starting in June and continuing through August we will be hosting a men's 17+(and possibly women's if there is enough interest) 5 vs. 5 basketball league on Sunday afternoons at the Warren Recreation Center Court (at the corner of Church and Welsh). We may also create a 35+ league if demand dictates.Tentative start and end dates are June 26th and August 14th.

Details:
Games will be officiated and will be 40 minutes (two 20 minute running halves) with substitutions allowed during dead balls. Rosters are limited to 10 players per team. The cost will be $100 per team ($10.00 per player). Fees go to pay refs, purchase t-shirts for all participants, provide gatorade and water for each game, and the rest will be used to purchase a prize for the championship team. The format will be round robin style for the "regular season", with the top 4-6 teams making the single elimination playoffs. We are planning on an 7 game regular season.
Sign-up sheets and waivers will be available online and in the Township offices beginning May 1st, 2011. June 17th is the last day to register a team.

Updates:
We currently have 6 teams registered, paid, and committed to the league . Games will be starting June 26th 2011 and will run through August 14th 2011. The team shirts have been ordered and I am awaiting delivery, they will absolutely be in by next week, but I'm not sure if they will be ready by Sunday for the first game. Referees have been contacted and assigned to games, and the schedule below will be the final schedule, unless the weather forces us to cancel games and reschedule them at 8:00pm on other nights. if you have any questions please give me, Samson Gausch(Park and Rec.
